Local Political Issues
The Chamber has become more involved in the politics of Benson. The Chamber tracks city issues that ultimately affect the Business Community. We will devote an ever-increasing effort to form the kind of social mechanisms that can give other groups, as well as our businessman, an effective voice in determining our community’s future course. The Business Community makes up the largest force in Benson! Our Chamber is committed to making our community a better place to live, work, and do business!
Chamber Newsletter
The Chamber Chatter Newsetter is intended to keep the membership informed on issues affecting your Chamber events, community activities, committee happenings, and local issues. New member businesses are introduced and reinvesting members listed.
Networking
Monthly Chamber of Commerce meetings are a great opportunity to meet and cultivate potential clients. The meetings are scheduled on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Check with the Chamber for the meeting place.
Quarterly Business Mixers provide members with the opportunity to meet other members. The “Business After Hours” let our members learn of other business activities and cultivate potential clients. Sponsorship package includes providing the facility and hosting the refreshments.
Quarterly Business Luncheons have speakers that represent businesses that have vital interests in the Benson and San Pedro Valley area.
Advertising
Each member is listed on the Chamber’s web site, alphabetically and by category, (with links to their own sites). Check it out from the “Members” menu.
Each member is also provided with two complimentary listings in the annual membership directory, The Golden Horseshoe, both alphabetically and by business classification. The Golden Horseshoe Directory is a joint directory that is shared with Tombstone, Bisbee and Willcox, Arizona and is distributed to all Chamber members, new residents, visitors, tourists, hotels, restaurants and the general public.

Chamber Associations
The San Pedro Community Task Force is made up of the Chamber and other Benson organizations with its mission to promote Benson.
The Benson Economic Development Committee is a joint endeavor with the City of Benson, Cochise County and local businesses to promote growth in Benson.
