Benson's 5th Annual Bluegrass in the Park
The Benson/San Pedro Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our 5th Annual Bluegrass in the Park event. The event will be held in Benson Arizona starting on April 23rd and ending on April 25th of 2010. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased on-line through PayPal using your credit card.
This year's event is going to a great event with top bluegrass bands such as the Goldwing Express, Cedar Hill, Lonesome Traveloer,
Bost Family Traditions and Jam PAC. In addition to the great live entertainment, the event will sponsor workshops, jam sessions, children's activities, and a wide variety of vendors.
With three full days of entertainment, this will prove to be an event that you just can't afford to miss. Many of the RV parks near by offer camping. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets and just sit back enjoy the bluegrass, visit the local vendors and have a fantastic time at this years Benson Bluegrass in the Park.

Celebration of Music and LoveOn February 14, 2010 at 4:30 pm a benefit to support the Benson Area Food Bank will be held at the Cochise College Benson Center. The event is called "A Celebration of Music and Love" featuring Marico Wilson and Elizabeth Scott. In addition to retail chain stores, there are several unique specialty shops found on the main 4th street that offers a variety of goods. Many residents, however, commute to Tucson and Sierra Vista for employment and shopping. The city supports a large retired population and is a winter refuge for visitors from colder climates. It’s nearby historic and scenic sites are increasingly popular with tourists. |
