Benson's 5th Annual Bluegrass in the Park
The Benson/San Pedro Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our 5th Annual Bluegrass in the Park event. The event will be held in Benson Arizona starting on April 23rd and ending on April 25th of 2010. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased on-line through PayPal using your credit card.
This year's event is going to a great event with top bluegrass bands such as the Goldwing Express, Cedar Hill, Lonesome Traveler,
Bost Family Traditions and Jam PAC. In addition to the great live entertainment, the event will sponsor workshops, jam sessions, children's activities, and a wide variety of vendors.
With three full days of entertainment, this will prove to be an event that you just can't afford to miss. Many of the RV parks near by offer camping. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets and just sit back enjoy the bluegrass, visit the local vendors and have a fantastic time at this years Benson Bluegrass in the Park.

Rottweiler Cochise College President 6:00 Benson & St. David High Schools Culinary Arts Presentation Enjoy the beautiful and delicious foods created by our local high school culinary arts program under the direction of teachers Jean Gregory and Mia Cashman. 7:00 Duane Reilley Quartet -- Live Musical Performance Duane Reilley has played the flute, clarinet and saxophone professionally for over 40 years. He received his formal education at Western Connecticut University. Recent highlights of his career include performances at Lincoln Center (NYC), and with the Nelson Riddle, Gene Krupa, and Jimmy Dorsey Orchestras as well as with Marvin Hamlisch, Diahan Carrol and Ben Vereen. He currently spends his time teaching, recording and freelancing in the Southwest. Tonight's concert will be devoted to Dixieland and Swing music. Accompanying Duane will be Ray Templin (drums), Evan Dain (banjo) and Sly Slipetsky (Tuba).
